Kate Richardson

Untitled design (48)

Kate started training as an adult in 2005 with her son at a family club Spalding Kickers, England.  She loved taekwondo straight away, although it took 9 years for her to be persuaded to take her 1st Dan. From then on, she worked her way to 2nd Dan the following year and qualified as a level 2 coach so that she could help the next generation of black belts to achieve their goals.  Now a 4th Dan and C Class Poomsae Referee, she has since moved to Scotland and had the opportunity to train at some great clubs. Kate enjoys all aspects of taekwondo and has six years’ experience teaching traditional and family taekwondo, including poomsae.  Taekwondo is her happy place, but she is also a self-confessed crazy cat lady.  When she’s not kicking things, she enjoys exploring the beautiful Scottish countryside.
