Our Olympic sparring team have kick started the year with a medal haul with a team of seven students, included children from North Lanarkshire and East Dunbartonshire.

The team attended the Keumgang Open in Lommel, Belgium where the competition had over 1000 entrants taking part on Saturday 20 January. The team ranged in age from six years old to sixteen with players competing in B class and A class level of competition.

Raw are pleased to announce that all students earned a medal at the competition and were able to enjoy sparring matches with other children from across Europe including; Belgium, France and Germany as well as other parts of the UK. The team earned 11^th place out of the 89 teams entered which is a fantastic result.
